It's not like she's entirely ignoring him. She spends more time in Tobias' company than among anyone else she's thus far met. But sometimes, it's just easier to be alone. And that includes being away from him. It doesn't surprise her though that he doesn't seem to get that. Nor does it surprise her when he comes up behind her and places his hand on her back. Dauntless conditioning has given her that much.
But like always, his touch seems to sear through her tee to her skin. It makes her want to shiver and touch him in return even as they stand in full sight of anyone who might be watching the temple, Abnegation upbringing be damned.
She does, at least, take a step away from the edge for his sake and turns to look at him with a scowl of her own. "Is that what it'll take to be alone?"
(Besides, the tower - while not one from the urban landscape she grew up in - is too reminiscent of home. She doesn't want that. Not right now.)
