Yes, the death of her parents still haunt her. So does Will's. Maybe his even more so. Her parents had died for her and while she'll never, ever forget that and she'll do everything in her power to make sure she makes them proud, she had been the one to shoot Will. She could have tried to disarm him, she could have made sure her shot had been nonfatal. She's Dauntless; she's a good enough aim. Instead, she had killed him.

And all of this makes it extremely satisfying when Tobias looses his breath for a second. She starts to smirk but falls short as soon as his hand captures her wrist. Then she just scowls.
"So?" She attempts to pull her hand away and if that doesn't work, she'll stomp down hard with her heel right above the arch of her foot. "Don't you think that's my decision to make?"
